I had the opportunity to work at the biggest CEX and DEX exchanges, like BitMart with $1.3B trading volume, BingX with $2B trading volume and official sponsor of Chelsea FC and Ferrari, and dYdX that at the time was at the top with $1B USD in trading volume. Reaching this before Hyperliquid at that time was a super achievement.

These companies have entry jobs and more experienced positions, but anything you did in the past can be very helpful. What are the entry jobs?

I believe there are three jobs you can get if you put some effort into creating a scenario for you to be approved.

Community Manager

Discord and forums are still very powerful tools for crypto protocols (the decentralized ones), and if you are very committed to Discord server protocols for passion or hobby, or are trying to make communities using YouTube, Twitter and more (even if follow-back), you can get a job inside these own Discords. Or you can apply on crypto job board websites like Bloockberg Jobs.

Protocols are not looking for incredible specialists, they are looking for people that vibe with the community and are willing to do damage control when needed.

Business Developer

There are different BDs in the crypto industry and DEX BDs are different from CEX BDs, but CEX BDs are strictly looking for volume and new traders. So if you are a trader that trades millions with or without leverage, or can bring friends, KOLs and any person to your affiliate link, you are very close to getting a job in a crypto centralized exchange.

This is the best job if you already have some social media experience in other sectors. If you learn about crypto and have the experience, you will get the jobs.
